Together in Thankfulness
What are you thankful for?
This time of year, I often ask that question of celebrities on the red carpet. I find the responses of those who have an abundance of fame and fortune show that we have a lot in common.
Just like us, they are most thankful for family and friends, the people who stand by them no matter what, who support them with love and understanding. We gather with our loved ones today to give thanks for all that we have, and all that our ancestors did to ensure that we have that quality of life.
As Americans, we have a great deal to be thankful for, not only on this day set aside for gratitude, but every day. As you begin the holiday season with a feast today, look toward a future of giving not only thanks, but giving of yourself to help improve the lives of those who may not have as much to be thankful for.
